I do believe the atmosphere at Heritage is definitely not pro-Miami. We've recruited about 20 players from there and only signed Kai-Leon Herbert. That is cra cra. Not sure if someone is pushing kids away from Miami (under Golden I understood) or if it's just a front running type atmosphere there. We do pretty well at IMG and that's about as front runnin as you could get.

I thought maybe with our positive season and momentum this wouldn't be the case anymore. We shall see.

One more note: a couple of weeks ago I met Syracuse CB Juwon Dowels (former AH player and Broward Defensive Player of the Year who F A G didn't recruit) and Juwon and his father told me that he is leaving Syracuse, will have a degree soon, and would like to transfer to UM to play under Rumph. Dowels is a great cover corner, but had some injuries at SU and didn't have the career he had envisioned. I haven't heard anything about this on this board (I figured Beardy would have said something about it), so I guess nothing will come of it.

That particular assistant coached one of my sons in optimist ball and he didn't seem to think we had a chance with PS2 or Campbell when I saw him a couple of weeks ago. He also thought Campbell would commit to UGA on the spot, so I don't know.

I agree with what you're saying about the atmosphere. But in this specific case, you can't call it front running when supposedly 2 of the 4 AH kids are considering UF which have had 2 4-win seasons in the last 5 years and just fired a coach. UF's a disaster right now with recruiting falling apart. I think these kids are having fun - but their could some truth to all of this. With recruitments like this, it's important to not get too high or too low on any tidbit of information that comes out. I don't doubt any of what Macho's hearing. I just don't take it in its finality.
