Man, what’s with all the chippy games and flag planting fights today? Seems like there were half a dozen today, starting with the Michigan - Ohio State game. Let’s see how long it takes for conference leaderships put a stop to this.

Too bad Miami’s red flag of a defense doesn’t have that much emotion.

They'll make some rule about not being allowed to plant a flag this week.
Hahaha. That’s it exactly. Guess I’m old school but who cares if someone plants a flag on an opponents’ field? Part of the rivalry but the media gets all worked up & keeps replaying it over and over. They were fighting on the sideline & the ref got knocked down during the game so why would anyone be surprised.

I wonder if the media will condemn Michigan and OSU as thugs and call for NCAA penalties. Oh no! That only happens when Miami shows some aggressive emotion. Oh, the good old days when Miami was bad, so bad they were good.

You don’t want a flag planted in the middle of your field don’t lose on your home field. You had 60 minutes to keep that from happening. Now take your medicine.
You foolishly plant a flag on someone's field and complain about getting socked in the jaw. Take your medicine.

Everyone does it but gets mad when it’s done to them. If you don’t want them dancing don’t let them score. This generation hates accountability for their actions more than any in history. To the victor goes the spoil. Just like other teams rip out your grass and take your fields dirt after winning on your field.

How about you just go celebrate with your fans and not go out of your way to taunt and disrespect your opponent post game.

There’s no place for this post game bull**** in college football, sorry.

Beat ‘em up on the field, celebrate with your team, but the mid-field stuff is nonsense and just asking for it. Just like stomping on the logo. Unwritten rules.

Football is disrespectful and hateful. Walking to midfield and fake planting your flag should be the least of your cares. The horrific things said and done in game or in the pile is much worse. Maybe i’m just different , I don’t get all in my feels and emotional over something I had a chance at preventing.

So let me get this straight? After I beat my hated fans *** I go into their recruiting section and scream and taunt the rival to their recruiting section. Then said coach of team breaks rivals mascot over knee while on the sideline but planting a flag is where we draw the line ? Is this a Miami board ? Lmao . We literally invented disrespect. This is hilarious.

Whatever. There’s a difference between what occurs during the game and pre/post game.

Did you like the post-game fight in the tunnel at the Michigan-Michigan State game a few years ago? Maybe the pregame fights we occasionally see are a good thing too.
