Chickillo Injured?

Read somewhere (Twitter I think) that he suffered an injury today and had to be helped off the field. Anyone hear the same?

He interviewed today and didn't really talk about it. If it was that bad he wouldn't be interviewing and talking about BC.
 
Yes he was injured, no they haven't mentioned the extent of the injury. Kirby was also injured and the media expects Coach Golden to speak on those injuries tomorrow morning.

I just saw some video of practice and Kirby was out there (not in red or yellow jersey) so he must not be too hurt. Probably just "nicks" for both.
 
They've all been going at it hard. Those videos of them clashing somebody is going to get nicked up eventually.

They'll be fine for the opener........I hope

They said Kriby got dinged up at the very end of practice. However it didnt sound like anything was very serious. Chick walked off with assistance and Kriby I think they said was limping.

Scratch that...Chick was dinged at the end of practice, Kriby got banged up in the scrimmage. Still no details as to what the injuries were. (minor/major)
 
one thing we need to remember with so many young guys. Even with UTough most of their bodies will wear down as the season goes on. It's just common. So as exciting as they are we NEED the upperclassmen to play big roles and have the young guys get run in spurts.

DE Anthony Chickillo was with trainers yesterday during the portion of practice open to the media.

And today he was wearing a yellow non-contact jersey.

But he said it's nothing serious.

"It's all good," Chickillo said at Wednesday's practice. "I just got a little flu or something, haven't been eating a lot or drinking a lot. My weight hasn't fallen; we're just trying to keep it up. Coach doesn't want me losing more weight. I'm going to be alright.

"I just woke up, wasn't feeling well … I'm on medicine and stuff, and I'll be fine."

Chickillo later called it a stomach bug. He said he wanted to practice in full today but that trainers wouldn't clear him.

"They're holding me out," Chickillo said.
