I never expected him to be a superstar, but **** I didn't think he'd be JAG either.

Really disappointing IMO considering how bad the DL is, hopefully he shows up at some point.

He had a sack, and I saw him get pressure a few time. Klein only threw 11 passes....I'd have to re-watch the game, but I wouldn't say off hand that he was invisible.

Even last year he never stood out to me as a playmaker or a difference maker. JAG it is.... Jethro corch em up!

The fact is the guy just isn't an incredible talent. We so desperately wanted him to be one that we've set unfair expectations. In any other major program, he'd ride the pine for two years while he bulked up, and once he his his Junior year he'd be in the rotation, but by no means the star.

Not defending him exactly, but is it possible for a DE to contribute if the DT's and other DE suck so bad?

I seriously wasn't impressed with him. Even from last year. He just doesn't get passed his blocker too often.

It is difficult but elite players find a way. If he is getting doubled every play then it is understandable, but he is not.
