I was wondering how closely he tracked to Burrow's season and how historic his run has been. Actually, quite close. We'll see how this tracks going forward. Biggest difference is completion percentage.

No disrespect to our boyz, but LSU outside receivers were way better than ours. If Cam had chase and JJ his numbers would be even crazier.
Agreed but the schedule they played that year was insane also, one of toughest runs in the game.. That lsu team had like 7 wins over AP TOP 10 teams..

Want to see how Cam end the season because Burrow second half he turned it up something crazy, last 4 reg season games, sec champ and 2 playoffs he went 30 TDs and 2 picks..

The numbers look dang near identical. Do you have the updated Heisman odds? Because after a 400 yard and five touchdown day, Cam be number one on those odds!

The comparisons are fun but I hope this doesnt become a "thing" because what Barrow did that year was ridiculous and I can only hope Cam can come anywhere close to that AND we win the national title. At this point I would be completely satisfied that we accomplished our preseason goals of:

*Getting a great product back on the field to show big time recruits AND the folks who write the checks that we are headed in the right direction.
*Winning 10+ games. (would love to see the thread where some posters on here had us winning 8-9 games tops. LOL. Good times)
*Winning the ACC title

Anything on top of this is absolutely gravy imo. We dont need to be 2019 LSU.

That was the beginning of the end for defense period. SEC defenses might as well have been the Big12. Florida scored like 40 something on Bama. It was weird.
Yeah, weird how as soon as teams with high level talent in the SEC started playing real offense it made those defenses look like the defenses that had been criticized for going up against that style of offense for years.

Weird.

Through 9 games its actually pretty dead on...spare me the "Who he played" piece (to this point).

Georgia Southern, Texas (8-5 finish), Northwestern St, Vandy, Utah St, Florida (very good), Miss State (6-7) and Auburn (9-4). He starts to turn it up with Bama, Ole Miss (4-8), Arkansas (2-10), But then the final four....Texas A&M (8-5) UGA, Oklahoma, Clemson. 19 TD's and about 1700 yards rushing..with no Ints's

So to this point during that season he played a slightly better schedule due to the 2-3 ranked teams but he also had more extremely bad teams. But those last 4 games...wow. That is legit. If Cam gives us 2/3's of that over the final stretch that would be unreal

Cam is gonna win the Heisman

For Cam's season to be legitimately similar to Burrow's shows you how great his season has been

But it's how Burrow went nuclear down the stretch against the best competition that made it the best QB season ever
