Change of districts

St. Thomas got a free pass to lakeland once again.
Splitting up Carol City, The West and Central means Dade county going to have a lot of teams getting rings.
Very True but now you got CC, Gibbons and Booker T in the same district with the other couple of decent teams

lol @ that. CC was just in a district with **** Nw and Central. Aint nothing change for them..they are likely to run even more roughshod in that grouping

Mater & Doral's days of cake walking through district play are over. They're not in an elite district but definitely more competitive now. Also good to see that they're mixing North Dade with South Broward schools and North Broward with South Palm Beach schools. I think STA's road got harder. Not significantly, but Plantation should provide a little bit more resistance.

Edison should also be happy.

NW and Chaminade also got a much easier road than before, especially NW.
MNW just won their 2nd 6A State title back to back last week beating Armwood again.

We started off the season shaky with all the transfers both on Offense & Defense, plus replacing Tutu Atwell was always going to be difficult, but once they gelled after losing to Central they went on a 7 game run & beat Central in the playoff rematch.

Their district may be easier now, but they're still easily one of the best teams in the state.

Who it really got easier for is STA, their District is a complete joke no comp at all. Deerfield's district is extremely easy for them as well, they should be juggernaught in that group just based on their recruiting alone, the talent gap is laughable.

Gibbons Chiefs vs Carol City Chiefs. I like that.

District 8A-10 should be real competitive with PBC, PBG & Wellington.

That district 7A-15 with Mac, Miramar & American will be interesting. Piper & Ely should run their districts, Coco Creek should dominate as well, they produce a lot of great talent every year, it's just those kids transfer around a lot.

Mater, Doral, Homestead & North Miami could be a real story district if North Mia can keep all their best players from transferring every year.

That Central, Norland, Belen & Southridge district will be real tough.

You forget that Atlantic is in Ely's district? Unless Ely goes crazy this offseason, that district belongs to Atlantic for the time being. And I also think Western could give Piper trouble for the top of that district, depending on what moves are made this offseason. I know both teams got big transfers in last year. Definitely will be interesting to watch.

For the forseeable future, looks like STA and American Heritage should dominate their districts.

Question is, when does Bishop McCarthy start to copy the STA model?

I know they were terrible but now that they don't have to worry about STA, Stranahan, Boyd, DFB, Dillard etc, they'll look like a different team & if that coaching staff can recruit decent they're due for turnaround. I agree that Atlantic is obviously the better team now, but I'm talking about down the line.

The same goes for Piper who's in a far better position in their district, they no longer have to deal with DFB & they actually have a lot good upcoming talent especially on Defense. Western is well coached & don't have to compete with Miramar anymore, but I think Piper will just have more talent than them if they keep everybody.
