There hype stems from there recruiting classes, Jimbo recruiting wise took off since Bowden left. This is put up or shut up for them and I would consider them the favorite on paper, but a new qb could set u back or he could be better than EJ who I thought wasnt great at all anyway and there OL is suspect. If we had there DT depth we would win the title this year.

Well they did win the ACC last year. They lost a lot of good players from last year and I can't see them winning the ACC with that much youth so its either Clemson or us.
 
Hands down best rec in the conference. Can't argue there. But they haven't really developed anyone worth much. And the side of the ball that carries them no longer has the staff behind it. All the D coaches left basically. Plus, as you stated, a new qb, new game plan implementation, suspect oline - as you said as well, too many question marks. I say they lose to Clemson, us and uf at a minimum.

Hope so but we have a big question mark as well....the whole defense especially the dline. The one thing fsu has in depth the red shirted dudes like edie goldman....they got a **** of a DL especially when u can red shirt guys which we havent done because the ncaa is on a witch hunt. We can beat them though if SM and duke play better in big games.
 
We should be the prohibitive favorite in the coastal. Anybody saying otherwise just isn't looking at rosters. Carolina lost a lot, VT brings the same sucky team back, and then who else is there? GT?

Winning this ****** division doesn't mean anything but lets at least win it for once.

Have to win it this year with 19 starters back and the coastal is very down this year. No more Gio Bernard and UNC losing their top Linebackers, UVA lost both QB to transfers, GT losing their QB and we own them. Duke being Duke and VT should be down as well with no WR depth and RB depth wat so ever... Golden has to win the coastal even if losses in the acccg it will be a successful season imo.

This is the year that we establish that we're moving in the right direction. We win the games we should win and play well in the games we lose. That's it. ACC championship game? Maybe. Win it? I doubt it. We still have a defense that will stop nobody. Remember Duke our last game? We were set back a year by not signing Bryant/Bostwik. We have to give this thing time.
