6'0 170lbs 3-star CB out of Phoenix AZ, goes to 5A school Desert Edge
Tri-Sport athlete that plays Football, Basketball & also runs track.
Finished his Junior year with 24tks 8PD's & 2INT's, to go with 289yds & 1TD as a Kick/Punt Returner.
Is a good athlete that's measures at a legitimate 6'0, with long arms, 40inch vertical & Elite Speed.
@ :50, is playing at Nickel, does a good job on the initial 2-hand jam against the Slot WR running a Crossing 4 route, then adjusts his feet to get on the hip-pocket of the WR while playing towards the inside shoulder, gets up field by planting his back foot & undercuts the route to make a nice play on the ball & get the PD.
@ :57 does the exact same thing, except to the opposite side of the field against a Drag route.
@ 1:24, playing in Press Man, does a terrific job with his one-hand jam off the release using steer technique to establish balance playing from outside leverage. He immediately opens & closes the distance getting on the outside shoulder of the WR, while doing a very good job of eyeing the QB to make a read on the ball. He did a great job of rerouting the WR to the sideline & making it an impossible catch, completely disrupting the route.
He's a high level Speedster & was recently clocked running a 4.29 laser timed.
He's also put up some good times last year in track season:
100m
- 10.69
- 10.70
- 10.78
- 10.81
As a result of his recent testing numbers his recruitment has heated up pre-Spring with 9 offers all coming in a span of a week from, USC, TAMU, Oregon, Utah, UCLA, Arizona, K-State, Cal & Mich ST.
Overall, he's a dynamic & versatile Corner that can play Nickel or Field. Has very good lateral footwork, plays with active hands, shows good eye discipline & has natural speed-turn ability giving him the required range to cover down field or against short to intermediate routes. Due to his speed can also be a viable Special Teamer as a Return specialist.
He's raw given that he's only played Corner since his Sophomore year (was originally a WR/RB), but he has the prerequisite tools to be developed into a very good cover Corner in college.
Plays at a very good school in Desert Edge, one of the best schools in Arizona that produces D1 talent annually.

Obviously, doesn't have an offer yet, but IMO this is the kind of 3-star kid that you take a flyer on.
