There's always room for Hanks and for multiple reasons:

  • Talent. His talent level upgrades the room and as @Memnon has said repeatedly, the room needs more talent.
  • Devastation. This would steal the Gator's best and most prized recruit from the last and would deal a devastating blow to Billy and the G5s.
However, he's a legacy and I'm not sure he'd do that to his dad's alma matter.

The 36-year-old Harris, who will lead the safety room at Miami, is considered one of the best young defensive backs coaches in America.

@Stevo365 says the DBs in South Florida/Raw love him and the Seatbelt decommited from the Gates shortly after he left Canesville. Let's see if he can turn CB recruiting around.

Wise, Wingo, Kreul, Wilson gotta be major priorities for us with Seatbelt looking like a done deal. Cooper, Russell, and Fitzpatrick seem like the big 3 locally to me.

Hmmm if they stink it up this year and Billy gets the axe I wonder if he'd consider it.

Depends who those players are if that really matters tbh.

Is it Markeith and Jadais? I suspect the only "big" loss would be Damari. And that is because I suspect he is unwilling to move to more of a safety role, which is what we actually need.

We do need safety depth to add (which is why I thought landing the branch brothers would have been awesome).

But yeah with Poyser And alucas likely starting at safety, and OJ, Brantley, and O'Connor starting at CB, I wouldn't expect to keep everyone.

Hopefully yes. But if you're Billy's replacement, Hanks has to be one of the first kids you lock down. So probably a long shot. That said, I want Mario to shoot that shot, because it puts them on defense, and hey, you never know.
