Absolutely. Nothing wrong with chasing some 5*s (if they show an interest) once we've got the core of the class committed. It's doing the reverse that's got us in trouble.

All we can do is handle our business, put together a good season & give him something to think about.

He'll probably stick with LSU, but you never know... Just keep putting forth the effort & hope for the best.

LSU has a 9 win prediction by the good fellas in Vegas.
They also have a ton and I mean a ton of baggage in that overhead compartment.
Emmett or not that’s a huge question mark for a kid wanting to play there for he next 3 years. Not to mention all the schools always trying to poach Raymond.
We lost a ton of juice with the Shapiro thing in limbo.
No reason we shouldn’t exploit the situation like they did with us. Shapiro was all speculation. They legit have federal issues pending.

There are certain guys you continue to recruit and there are guys you move on from. He's a guy you recruit not because he's a 5* but because he can flatout ball and the CB position is down this cycle in our backyard. This kid hasn't mentioned us since he was offered but Manny and Rumph has him considering a visit.

By no means is it guaranteed that he'll visit or decommit from LSU but let him visit if he chooses to come. **** happens in recruiting all the time. You never no what this kid may be thinking come December.
