Defense leads Deerfield to victory over reigning state champ Carol City - Sun Sentinel

Deerfield beat Carol City 6-2, their Defense absolutely shut CC down.

You could make the argument this wasn't an upset considering how good DFB is, but CC is a 6A state champion that returned most of their starters.

Marlon Smith really struggled against their Defense, Ashtan Pierre picked him off & Cam Davis was held to just 10carries for 13yds.

I wonder how Coach Hyppolite is dealing with a new staff over there since Aubrey Hill left.
He brought over 2 kids with him from Hallandale, QB Legend Moore & DT Aaron Morgan (who I'm high on).

Its early in the season and deerfield is loaded. I wont call it much of an upset...considering cc played img last week and again DB is a top 10 team in the state

I agree with that.

It seems like CC might have to adjust their Offense some, last year they could actually throw the ball quite a bit, this year looks like they might be missing Kevaughn Dingle lol.

Agree with you 100% on Abdullah, been saying it since last year.

He's got track speed & is a **** good tackler, when Wilder ran out of eligibility for the playoffs last year Yasir put that Defense on his back as a Rush End LB.

I know he's a bit light, but he's got crazy upside. His Uncle is the late Freeman Brown too.

#9 for DFB is TE Daniel Barker, he transferred from Boyd Anderson back in February, Illinois commit.

Cam looks like he's a big game playoff guy. His numbers, aside from that late run last year, have been pretty bad for a star HS RB.
 
What happened with Pierre? Wasn't the staff big on him at one point ? Seems like he's fallen off their map

what really good trraits does cam davis have? rarely see him break a tackle or have any wiggle.

Cam had 157yds & 3TD's in the 6A State semi's & over 600yds during the regular season while splitting carries with Nayquan Wright.

You're trolling based off one game, DFB has one of the best Defenses in the State of Fla & CC abandoned the run game after it wasn't working for them.

You keep catching unnecessary bullets for Sitkow, trolls like you are always trying push false narratives, you can't compare QB's to RB's or any other position, it's Apples to Oranges.
