Can't believe I'm asking this but....

Rodgers and Highsmith have played well this year. Nothing stands out, but they have been serviceable. Both are better in run support and scare me in coverage though.

Actually KAcy has been tackling well. its a shame but i noticed a big difference when he wasnt in the game against North Carolina

Kacy has been much improved...to my surprise. Highsmith is still saggy booty meat, though. Kacy's absence was noticeable when Ebron was coasting to the endzone. Here's to having #22 back healthy tomorrow.

Highsmith just isn't that good.

I'm sure he's a great locker room guy and hard worker, but...

He whiffed badly on a shallow cross against UNC. It should've been a 2 yard gain that went for 15. Tracy saved us with an INT on the next play.

I grew up with the kid, so I will just say this.

He is a great kid that makes the team better each and every day in practice. Don't forget who landed on that onside kick against UF, or we might have a loss right now and the season looks completely different. All you can ask for kids is to sell out and give their best. I'm pretty sure the coaches think he does something to merrit the PT he gets. He isn't a legendary talent but he is a cane and he's doing his best.

I don't get the slamming of players. No one ever said Highsmith was Sean Taylor. He's just a hard-working kid doing his best, and the coaches obviously think he brings something to the defense, or they wouldn't play him.

I'm with you Sebastian.....just wish the kid was better. He's great for the team, and his Dad was a Cane legend. However, I don't want him back there taking bad angles against FSU and VT. That will simply get us smoked! However, he is what he is, and we don't have much of a choice based on current depth. Hopefully, he just has a breakthrough the last few games of his senior year and plays out of his mind. Trust me, we will need it!
