Adding AJ Highsmith to the discussion means the top 3 kids behind Jacory Harris at QB had to switch positions to see the field. Is there any wonder why Jacory felt no pressure to keep his position?!?

Way to go Randy recruiting a Safety and TE to play QB at the U. LOL

And we wonder why Golden has needed time to fix this **** roster.

Trust me, I am not a Randy supporter, but look at the QBs behind Dorsey in 2001. Only one of them saw playing time and it was b/c he had to switch positions.

That QB won us a MNC and took us to another..... Jacory took us to the toilet bowl and couldn't even win that

My point was that even behind Dorsey our QB depth wasn't very good. If you look at the posts throughout the thread, they are ripping Randy for our QB depth behind Jacory, but our 2001 team really wasn't any better behind Dorsey.

Signed by Rams as a rookie free agent safety.

Smith played in 30 career games for the Blue and Gray, starting 21 contests in the secondary for the Tigers’ defense over the final two years of his career. He also made two starts at quarterback.

One the defensive side of the football, he registered 101 total tackles with 53 solo stops and 48 assists. He had eight pass breakups, forced a fumble and recovered two others during his career.

Smith played in the 2013 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game as well as the inaugural Raycom College Football All-Star Classic following his playing career with the Tigers.

This kid had to have worked pretty hard to get where he is, instead of sitting back like a spoiled rich kid's son, when things weren't in his favor.... I'm impressed!

Now he gets to compete head-to-head with Ray Ray Armstrong for a roster spot at Safety...going to be interesting to see how this develops.

Hey, I can appreciate any kid who is recruited as a QB, then changes positions where he has to go out and get dirty.

Be kind folks, young Mr. Smith will probably own an NFL franchise some day.

Maybe his dad bought the Rams new lights for their field. I am surprised he didn't end up a Redskin given the stadium they play in.

Since when did Larry Coker become some great football mind. He shares the blame with Randy for the decline of the program and quality depth on the roster.
