Petersen has a special needs kid and the Seattle area is one of the best to offer care for his condition. At least that was the rational why he went to UW in the first place. Don’t see him making that move.Just finished watching this. Great series. I liked the guy who said at the end that Chris Petersen is a guy Miami should really go after. He is retired, but as the guy said, if you were able to poach his old athletic director from Boise away from his current job at Minnesota, Mark Doyle, that might do the trick to bring him out of retirement. I'd take Urban as well. Bill o Brien could work too. Obviously, Mario makes the most sense but M.I.A.M.I. (money is a major issue).
Outdated information. His youngest son, Sam, is a 22-year-old college senior. That was the case a decade ago not now.Petersen has a special needs kid and the Seattle area is one of the best to offer care for his condition. After Coach Richt, idk if getting a coach to come out of retirement is the answer. If he retired, it has to be for a good reason. I'd rather go after someone talented, middle aged and hungry.Just finished watching this. Great series. I liked the guy who said at the end that Chris Petersen is a guy Miami should really go after. Or it could be Urban Meyer from Florida to OSU. Petersen has had a few years to recharge. Unlike Richt who went right from Georgia to Miami and never recharged. After Coach Richt, idk if getting a coach to come out of retirement is the answer. If he retired, it has to be for a good reason. That's true, let's hope that's the case. I'm just thinking a retired guy doesn't want or need the pressure cooker of coaching UM. He's never had the type pressure he'll see in Coral Gables....Washington job vs Miami job pressure are not even on the same continent. That being said, would love to have Petersen, I think he'd do wellOr it could be Urban Meyer from Florida to OSU. Petersen has had a few years to recharge.
