2020 QB Max Johnson would be a nice commitment... the core of our 2020 c;lass will be able to bond and recruit for 2 years together. If we keep going in the right direction as a program on and off the field, this could be our first #1 recruiting class since 2008. We already have 5 247 Top 100 players committed and Britt who is the only member yet to be ranked already got his invite to the Rival 5 Star Challenge as a rising Junior. Just got to keep winning and keep the momentum going.

What I love about this class is that all our current commits can already compete with the 2018 and 2019 recruits with 2 years to go.
Leonard Manuel won the WR MVP last year at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp Orlando against 2018 guys.
Marc Britt was the only underclassman invited to this years Rivals 5 Star Challenge from the recent Rivals 3 Stripe Camp Miami.
Samuel Anaele earned his offer last year at paradise camp going against older guys
Avantae Williams, Tre'von Riggins, and Jermaine Burton are all guys who were on the radar from the 8th grade and were competing with some of the top guys in nation at IMG last year.

All of these guys have been heavily recruited but all chose to commit to Miami early. Hopefully they will stick to their commitments and help put together one of the best recruiting class at the U. Adding a star QB to the mix early could go along way in keeping the class together especially with 3 of the top WRs in the class already committed.

Not to be a downer but from everything ive heard max isnt very likely to wind up here. Than again this was prior to dumbo leaving but its been said he was never too fond of dumbo to begin with. Most qbs dontbwanna play for dumbo to be honest. Hes known as a psycho.

Do you think its too much pressure playing for his uncle and cousin? I can see his interest in FSU considering his dad played there but our program and theirs are heading in 2 different directions...

He seems like a strong minded kid. Alot of kids like that excell in that environment & wanna prove they can stand up to the expectations. But honestly willie lump lumps gonna get them put on probation sooner rather than later. Buddy is shameless with the bag game & while that may work for certain kids brad johnson is alot like richt in the church going aspect. All the same id say georgia is our main competition for him.

Well if that's the case then I hope we split with Georgia on Johnson and Bailey. It would be nice to have either one.

He is and Jon is his cousin but his dad Brad and mom Nikki both played for FSU and he lives in GA. Nikki is Mark's sister but played volleyball for FSU and married Brad who played football there.
