I like Gore better as a prospect and player, but Portis cranks off long run after long run (displaying more speed than Frankie) and has multiple huge hits. The decleators were the deciding factor for me.

+1. Gore has the best vision I have ever seen. However, I thought he was faster in High School. Either way, he is an amazing story and one of the top backs in the history of Dade county

I can see why the Gates wanted him as a DB. I remember a story about CP. A fan come up to him at a gas station and asked him " hey Clinton, big fan. Do you think you can handle 20 25 carries ?. Clinton replied " Do you think you can handle me being the Canes all- time rusher ?" ..
