Canes a #2 Seed in CBS Bracketology

Anyone notice how the host sites are poorly distributed this year?

Dayton, Lexington, Detroit are all within 5 hours of one another. Plus, Philidelphia, are all the 'eastern' sites.


Pretty ******. At least the final four is in Atlanta.

One thing you know for sure is that Larranigga would have this team prepped PROPERLY for a tournament run. Defense DEFENSE DEFENSE and Great guard play.

Don't nobody be showing anyone on the team this stuff yet....:) and wow at "projected champion" in their ACC breakdown.
 
There are a lot of games left. Lets not all jump the gun and blow our load now. I think this team is very good as a whole but there is a lot of ball to be played before we need to worry about our bracket ranking.

Fair points but u know it's great our Canes are getting attention and respect.

I agree we aren't technically playing the game, but things can happen. Anything. Not to jinx anything, but other teams get better (some get worse) and key injuries can completely derail a season.

Now, all things being equal, we are playing great hoops, but it's more satisfying to be playing great hoops come early March. It's all about getting "hot" at the right time.

Now, back to the earlier point, what happens when we lose our first ACC game? If it's this weekend vs NC State, then I can stomach it to some degree. However, what if we have a mid-week slip-up @ Vag Tech? Then you start getting all the doom & gloom folks coming out. It's feast or famine with most of our casual fans.

One game at a time.

This is more for fans and stuff. I know Coach L is telling the team to ignore it.

Because what you see all this time is a team fall apart and then start *****ing about stupid ****. Plus why not talk about up coming games instead of what might happen 3 months from now. I guess if you want to live in fantasy land and dream about being a 2 seed or final 4 runs halfway through the season it all good. But I would be looking at a big game at nc state coming up.
