2014 Safety Quin Blanding gave his verbal commitment to Virginia this morning. Blanding is rated a 99 (5-star), the #1 Safety in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite.

Chalk one up for a kid wanting to play for the home team. Always like to see kids make these type of decisions even when we aren't the home team. One kid isn't gonna launch UVA so good for them. I hope he sticks to his commitment and we can watch Coley, Malcolm, and Griffin make him look like David Amerson.

Nice to see he's being appreciated for all the info he gives us lol. I think he was just getting some heat for being new and putting up some so so stuff at first. The info is getting progressively better though and we should appreciate it so thanks Tex.
