Can anyone explain

Why on 4th and 1 near the goal line our 2 linebackers are 5 yds deep in the end zone? Why our linebackers take deep zone drops on a 3rd an5 play. I am at a loss . Give me one sound defensive philosophy that can justify this.

I saw that, and was dumbfounded before they even snapped the ball. Bend but don't break even on the 2 yard line I guess. Can't give up the big play over the top. Lol
 
The defense was not put into the position to win last night. Thomas is a very bad throwing QB. Why we played 7 yards off and no one covered the screen or the 5 yard crossing route is beyond me.

Nobody realized this during last year's ND game?

Not many. Remember, the few of us who did are idiots, haters, typical Miami fans, don't know football etc.

OP: we have been doing that since the Maryland game a few years ago. Glad you finally caught on.

This guy has got to go, but it ain't just him though. Our LB's are truly terrible. The same boots and screens were run on them about 10-15 times and not once was it covered! Not once. DP is talented, outside of that our LBs stink
