Title edited. To what I don’t know but a thread title with only a player’s name is no bueno

That interception was a disgrace to the quarterback position. Also, he refused to do check down to Fletcher in the redzone which could have resulted in a TD. I do believe the Heisman talk is getting to him a bit. We started moving the ball well when Cam stopped throwing and Lyle started getting touches.

I would have to see the full field view but looked to me like there was an LB close to Fletcher just off screen

Not saying don’t throw it but I’d have to see a further out view

There was. Fletcher isn’t walking in. But he’s getting close. And that was second down. Instead, we get the penalty on third and settle for 3.

He’s done that stupid **** that resulted in a pick what 5 times this year? Florida, Va Tech, Cal, Duke, and today. You’d think he would learn after the first two times especially as a 5th year guy.

Dumb play but dumb play call too. I don’t know if the screen game keeps the defenses honest … but they sure aren’t getting us enough big chunk plays for the risks they put us in. Both turnovers came off them.

That’s what I thought. Cam went to go to Fletcher and saw the LB I think so opted away from the couple of yards

Game thread just saw him not checking it down and went bonkers but that’s not what I saw

Maybe he makes a play there but can’t really blame Cam for going for more either given we wanted 6

I don't think it's really the heisman talk because that's always who he's been. He did it in the uf game where he made a really good play throwing across his body, but he did it again and it resulted in a pic. In the end we know how that game ended. A lot of plays he has made for us this year digging us out of holes weren't "good" plays to make but he made them so it comes with the territory.

For Cam the good vastly outweighs the bad but it becomes magnified because we aren't a complete team so when he isn't playing godlike it becomes a huge hinderance.
