Fake news. You can't even bet on sports in Florida!!!Suspended for gambling?
No it wouldnt matter because the school literally didnt care about going 7n5 every year.. **** the way they make it seem if not for Herbstreit they were oblivious that we werent trying and being a competitive team. It starts at the very top, there was no commitment to winning, they just cared about the perception of seeming like they were trying with #buildingchampions hashtags and suchHe left the part out bout the free Camaro.
Our recruiting "misses" can obviously be infuriating when you look back at them over that 15 year span but I really wonder if any of them individually (sans maybe the QBs) would've really made any difference in the overall big picture trajectory of the program during that run.
Agreed. We had systemic issues that weren't going to even begin to be solved by any of these players individually- no matter how great many of them obviously ended up being. An elite QB might've masked it for a season or two but it wouldn't have broken the cycle. No it wouldnt matter because the school literally didnt care about going 7n5 every year.. **** the way they make it seem if not for Herbstreit they were oblivious that we werent trying and being a competitive team. Yup. Sad but true. For a long time, I-and likely many others-attempted to convince ourselves that if we could just win a little bit more, some of these high 4 and 5 stars would commit here and we'd be back in business in no time. Guys like Bridgewater, Alex Collins, Amari Cooper and Dalvin come to mind. But no doubt it would have been fool's gold. There was something far more rotten here.Agreed. Even Rick starting to change the mindset institutionally from the head coaching spot showed that too can be almost be quickly erased if you have ineptitude (the AD) and a school/boosters not yet fully bought in.
Thought he commited on April 19, 2014.
I guess LSU and Bama played a private game for recruits.
He was going to commit to Miami in early 2014 around February along with Burgess-Becker and they called the media to a 7 on 7 practice and then changed their mind and visited Bama and committed.
His story is wrong.
The one guy I think about is Lamar Jackson…Idk if those staffs put in an offense to fit him but he carried Louisville to big stages so id imagine he would of gave us a great spark in his time…He left the part out bout the free Camaro.
