Bye Week Prep

Cal came out of their bye week and was extremely prepared for us in all facets which reflected the score the majority of the game. Can we expect something similar from our staff going into Louisville? (We haven’t won a game coming out of a bye week since Obama was in office which was Richt’s first year)

Hope not.

I want this team to use the Bye week as a dream vacation. The entire team needs to go on round trips to Bora Bora & Santorini, just relaxing drinking, Golfing, swimming, sight-seeing & taking it all in.

Put some of that unearned NIL money to good use & book some luxury 5-star hotel suites at the resort & eat exotic exquisite food all week.

I really really hope they come out slow, fat, tired & as unprepared as possible.

Instead of going down 35-10, it needs to be 49-3 with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter...

That way when we still figure out a way to win, it will make it that much more worthwhile & give you guys another week of wetting yourselves in nervousness.

I consider the UF preparation to be like a bye week and the staff got an A+. With a week to prep for Louisville, we should be good but I always defer to Vegas to determine my confidence level and being just a 4 pt fav does not exude tons of confidence.

According to Vegas you should have been confident before VT and Cal. Should have been somewhat nervous before UF. Yet those games turned out to be completely different than what Vegas thought.

I'm actually not that confident in Vegas.

I honestly think they’re still adjusting to the new world of post NIL football, there is waaay more parity and that has happened way faster than anyone would have thought.
 
This game for me is what will differentiate between this team and the fluke 2017 team that went 10-0 before imploding. Will you continue to have close games with teams you have no business having being in dogfights with, or will you take the last 2 weeks as notice and wake up. Will also be interesting to see if anything has changed lost bye week when historically we blow more wiener than Norvell after them. This game will speak volumes.

Is a south Florida 3-star hotel really a 5-star?
 
Very simple preparation. Exchange game film for "Teens Like It BIG." Our offense is Johnny Sins and Louisville's defense is Riley Reid. We gonna pound that az$ so hard. We gonna score....a lot.
For the defense, replace game film with the 40 year old virgin.....Louisville isn't allowed to score until the very end.

On D this week I’d love to see Guidry pump the breaks on blitzing and keep containment on the outside. Keep everything in front and force the ball to the sidelines.
If we can keep their O in check we should be fine.
