Think they go the small school route again. Willie Taggart, who should have been hired at Kentucky, would make a lot of sense.

If I was Auburn or Arkansas, I would go after Davis. He's the kind of coach it will take at Auburn to compete with Saban.

From what I read, Taggart also has a few assistants that are stud recruiters in Tampa. Essentially they will start picking off more of the Tyriq McCords of the world if he gets hired.

NOTE: I did not say they would get them all, just that they would all of a sudden be much stronger adversaries for us and the Gators.

Do you really think that a school is going to hire a coach who's last stop resulted in NCAA sanctions? Even if Butch was excused from any wrongdoing, I think most schools will stay away. Even Arkansas will most likely want a squeaky clean coach due to their latest clown jobs.

If ND would hire Lou holtz after EVERY stop ended with the NCAA bringing sanctions, than yes. The SEC is not afraid of the NCAA. The NCAA is afraid of them.
