2014 Hialeah (Fla.) Running back Henry Bussey was hampered by a hamstring injury last year that didn’t allow him to play much. However, Bussey is a player most fans may want to keep an eye on.

“Last season started off bumpy because I pulled my hamstring and I only got to play six games. I had 45 carries for 307 yards with two touchdowns.”

One of Bussey’s main goals going into next season is helping his team succeed.

“One of my goals going into next season is to help my team go undefeated, make it to the first round of the playoffs and I want to get two thousand yards next year.”

Bussey is currently speaking to a number of schools including Oregon, Florida, Clemson, Indiana, and Miami.

Miami is one of the many schools that have piqued his interest, one of the main reasons he has interest in the ‘Canes is due to their high powered offense.

“When we were at the Junior Day, the coaches were telling me that they don’t play you by your age but by your skills. They told us that in the first practice they use all the freshmen to see where they are skilled at.”

Bussey speaks with Running Backs Coach Hurlie Brown and Wide Receivers coach Brennan Carroll. He has built a great relationship with both coaches during his recruitment.

“They’re good people, they know how to present themselves to student athletes and talk to them.”

Bussey doesn’t know when he will make a decision but has two things he will be looking for when he decides.

“Playing early and a family type atmosphere.”

He was sony's back up. He started the season when sony was hurt and ran for close to a thousand if im not mistaken. He transferred out in the spring because the backfield was too crowded (sony and Walter Tucker) and family reasons. Good back but i dont think he is miami caliber.
