Bush doubtful for Saturday

**** that, even with 1 shoulder he's still better than everyone else we have at safety now.

sit him out...rest him up...

dont expect Va to be throwing the ball deep down the field any way,...their going to dnk and dunk with crossing routes and in the flats to the backs....

just need a good rotation of Telamaque, Highsmith, and Jenkins. Like to see Kacy Rodgers mixing in over slot guys....he seemed to be more in a comfort zone..(kid never played safety in high school)

Bush makes the most impact within 10 yards of the LOS. Especially these last few games he either is already up there in run support or blitzing or flies up quickly to crack people.

I'm happy with the progress this kid has made through the first 2 months of his FRESHMAN year! Probably my favorite defender right now. But, gotta let the young cat rest up. Liv a pi a nu day (Farmer Fred)! VT needs to finally show us all that **** potential he came in here hyped with.
 
UVA won't take many deep shots, but they will run the ball. Bush has been one of our best tacklers against the run game all season long. He comes down into the box with a point to prove every single time. Not having him means more Telemaque/Rayshawn Jenkins. VT on early downs to support in the run game, Jenkins on passing downs as he's a better athlete.

Doubtful doesn't mean Out though. Maybe he makes the trip and is good enough to play.

He's been sticking his ******* nose all up in that ***** on running plays. He has been popping people lately. This loss HURTS. In the last few games alone he's progressed to the point where he's one of our best defenders.
 
Probable = 75 % of playing
Questionable = 50 % chance of playing
Doubtful = 25 % chance of playing
 
So he listed as doubtful and that means he is out? Some of you need to take off the panties and start acting like men again. SMDH at some of you. Charmin soft some of you are. Sack up and become Canes fans.

So if Bush doesn't play does that mean he's soft? Or just the fans that voice their opinions on the implications vs. a team that has owned Miami recently?
 
Offense needs to step their game up regardless. We can't depend on the defense to make big plays and keep us in games every week. It's the offense that has no excuses except poor execution and occasionally suspect playcalling...that needs to change down the stretch for us to avoid a slip-up.
 
Our defense can't win a game for us against a really good running offense. VT's running offense was abandoned pretty early by most of our opponent's standards. UVA, on the other hand, loves to run the ball and set up playaction w/crossing patterns all over the place.

We have to be sound against the run, and sharp in pass coverage when we pass the receivers from zone to zone. Otherwise, we'll have to hope our offense has figured things out and we can win in a shootout.
