Just did an update with basketball signee DeAndre Burnett, brother of Dalvin Cook. Here is the excerpt on what Burnett is telling Cook:

Miami football fans are also interested in Burnett because his brother, Dalvin Cook from Miami Central, is one of the top players in the country for next season. Cook is currently committed to Clemson, but Burnett has high hopes that will change.

“Every time I talk to him I just tell him why not make it a big family thing at the University of Miami right at home with a very known football program. It’s not a sure thing he will go to Clemson, and I have another year to change his mind. I also tell him to just remain focused and keep his eyes on the goal in life.”

will Sanctions to the basketball team have any effect on burnett? They WILL get hit and if they do i hope he doesnt jet since he isnt enrolled yet....crossing fingers!!!

Pretty sure Burnett signed with UM knowing there was an investigation going on and potential sanctions could be looming. Not sure he could get out of his LOI. Does anybody know for sure?
