Great win tonight. Showed a ton of resiliance. Shane is a STUD if people didn't realize that already. Loved what I saw out of Gamble today, played to his strenghts. He isn't going to show much in the boxscore but added great intangibles. Kenny played well at end after doing nothing.

Now onto the huge challenge SAT. I'd sign up to split the @NCST and @DUKE Games, that'd be good.

Thoughts on what the spread will be?

I dont want to split ****. Keep ******* rolling.

I hope NC State gets -10 or some ****. People still dont believe.

I'd guess NCST -2 but I'm no expert. Cane Daddy. You gotta realize how tough it is to win on the road. Yes we are 4-0 in acc play but this is a big step up in talent. Duke will also want blood after our throttling of them

I am fully aware and I have seen it across the ACC and other leagues all season. However, this team has what it takes to keep rolling. Our defense is stellar and as long as we hit some shots, we are going to very, very tough to beat. I will take the three-headed monster of Gamble, RJ, and Kadji against any front-court in America. I dont even need to mention our back court and wings if they are hot.

We roll.

WE HAVE NEVER WON IN RALEIGH in the ACC. Never. It's the only ACC city where we have yet to win. We've won at Duke, we've won at UNC (twice). Never at NC State. I want this one, and I want it badly.

Our guys look like they are enjoying playing D as much as they do on the attack.

Coach L has really mind ****ed these guys in the best way.

Honestly? I'd rather beat NC State in Raleigh this year than Duke in Cameron Indoor (although, of course, I'd want to win both). Why? CBS. Everyone will be watching, minus the small part of the northeast who are getting the Georgetown-St. John's game.

They way this team can adjust at half time is insane. If we can have the lead at half we should be good. seems like we always break teams in the first 4 min of the 2nd.

Just read a write up of the game and the guy predicted NC St. to win, close, but said a win by Miami would be more impressive than the Duke win.

really?? they think NCST is a better team then Duke? I feel like EVERY ACC win will be bigger than the other just because it's just bumps us further ahead then the next team behind us in the standings.

No, but NC State in Raleigh might be tougher than Duke in Coral Gables.

Random, but I was talking about this with a buddy last night. Does anyone remember that game we lost in Raleigh like 5 years ago where Anthony King turned over an inbounds pass in the last 10 seconds to lose the game? I still have nightmares about it.

Yes, unfortunately we got Darius Riced. We also lost one when a guy hit a 35 foot 3 at the buzzer

Winning Saturday will be huge. First, like NS said, we haven't done it before. Second, like OC said, it's on CBS. Lastly, we get by these guys and the team stays healthy, i think we only lose 2 at worst the rest of the way.

Here's the rest of the UM schedule with the ESPN RPI rating of each opponent.

15 Feb. 2 @ North Carolina State
145 Feb. 5 Boston College
32 Feb. 9 North Carolina
61 Feb. 13 @ Florida State
113 Feb. 17 @ Clemson
92 Feb. 19 Virginia
112 Feb. 23 @ Wake Forest
138 Feb. 27 Virginia Tech
1 Mar. 2 @ Duke
129 Mar. 6 Georgia Tech
113 Mar. 9 Clemson

Any ACC road game is a battle. Can't assume wins no matter who the team is. Now home games are a different story.....

I had repressed that game from my memory until now. ;)

We never seem to play well in Raleigh, but this team is full of road warriors. I have confidence that, win or lose, they'll at least be ready to play.
