Bright Note: Special Teams

They are **** good again. Its kind of crazy with all the kicking problems in college football that Miami always seems to have at least one good one, we have 2 now. Coverages and returns have been good as well.

Thought I would throw a positive out there amongst all the obvious negatives.

We are kicker U. We always have good kickers. Too bad they don't get to make big kicks in big games anymore.

Special teams betrays us against good competition. K-State owned us. FSU last season. We're infinitely better than were were under RS, but we still have work to do.

Generally speaking, I find coaching can affect special teams play quicker than any other so it bodes well those units play well, and have played well under Golden. The last time we were this solid on special teams was under Coker and he had Mark Stoops running it. I pray to gawd he leaves FSU this year.

They didn't have to punt if they did I am sure we would have dominated on that side of special teams
