The Miami Hurricanes football program announced Sunday that it has accepted a bid to the 2024 Pop-Tarts Bowl.

Miami will take on Iowa State at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. on Dec. 28. The game will be broadcast at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.

Miami is set to play in its 46th bowl game in school history. The Hurricanes own a 20-25 record in its previous postseason contests.

The 2024 Pop-Tarts Bowl will mark the first-ever meeting between Miami and Iowa State on the gridiron.
The Hurricanes are making their fifth bowl appearance in Orlando since 2009. Most recently, Miami faced Oklahoma State in the 2020 Cheez-It Bowl at Camping World Stadium.

Hurricane Club members and football season ticket holders receive priority access to bowl game tickets.

An application to request tickets has been emailed to all eligible accounts with the deadline of Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 11:59 p.m.

Requests will be confirmed, partially confirmed or denied on Thursday, Dec. 12.

All remaining inventory will be made available to the public starting on Friday, Dec. 13.

Sad and embarrassing!!! No Cane player with NFL aspirations are playing in no **** Pop Tart bowl! They just had to win two out of three GT, WF, and Cuse. Heavily favored in all three. They got what they deserved! If FU play in a better or New Year’s Day bowl would be even more hurtful!

You sure you'd want that? Vandy and OU aside, I wouldn't like our chances v Bama. Not with this defense.

Rather have played Colorado. Then again, if Cam sits out, I don't like our chances against anyone.
 
Pop tart bowl, tell me this real. Pop tart bowl? Purina wasn’t available? Campbell’s Soup? Is this what bowls have become?

Do we even carry 15k to this game , which is only @2.5hrs away? The bitter taste of that meltdown at the end of the season I’m thinking will mean most Canes fans are going to stay home.
