The Miami Hurricanes have landed their second linebacker commitment of the 2017 class, as Bradley Jennings, Jr. announced his pledge to the Hurricanes. Jennings, Jr. texted CanesInSight saying, “I’m committed to Miami now”.
The three-star outside linebacker from Sandalwood high school in Jacksonville recently decommitted from the Florida State Seminoles, where his father played his college career.
The 6-1, 215-pound linebacker now joins Waynmon Steed from Central as the Canes’ commits at the position. 247sports.com ranks Jennings, Jr as the #43 OLB in the country and the #89 player in the state of Florida.
Sources tell CanesInSight that Miami loves Jennings, Jr.’s toughness and speed at the linebacker spot. The Hurricanes might be happy with a class of just Steed and Jennings, so we will see how this affects Carol City’s DeAndre Wilder.
