Boys among men

I though we played pretty well. We definitely fought. Offensively we are without a real playmaker at the wr spot. But we saw a really good game out of some guys.

Scott...Next year that kid needs to be one of the best receivers in the conference. Got mad skills. Reminds a little of Hakeem Nicks. Besides the catching everything part.
Hope you're right but I don't see it.Average speed and awful hands.Hope AJL and Lockhart steput and take over next season.

Our quarterback is not nearly as good as we need him to be for a junior. Lacks any consistency and disappears for large periods of time. Disappointing really.

I think Morris is playing very well for the most part. he has exceeded expectations by a great deal. the WRs were a HUGE question mark coming into the season and they've proved to be average to bad. IF Morris had a couple of legit threats at WR he would be torching defenses.

also, we abandon teh run too early at times and play to our weakness which is the defense

Good post! I can't believe the bad throws with WIDE open wr's!

I just don' t get him!

If Scott didn't have alligator arms on the one time we got behind the defense it could've been different. Probably still a loss, but that was a momentum changer.

One of many in the game, unfortunately.

This was very similar to 1998 against FSU when we lost 26-14 at home, except we were in this game a lot longer than in 1998.

That's all this game boiled down too. Just didn't have enough firepower. Give us a year or two and things will look a lot different.

Yep. Its crazy that we, our fans (for the most part), don't understand the dumpster fire that our roster was when Golden took over. Look at our DL (a bunch of FR and So, which shouldn't be the case) and S (a bunch of bad football players outside Bush) and that should tell the story. Golden is improving the talent but Its going to take time.
