August 7, 2012 10:10 am HTFor the college football fan who enjoys wagering on prognostications, few preseason betting options are more tempting than 2012 win total over/unders. The oddsmakers have broken down the schedule just like the college football "experts," and this is where they have set the initial lines regarding the outcome of the 2012 season.

Obviously the number is not an exact prediction of wins, but rather a starting point for wagering. For example, no team's over/under is higher than 10.5. Chances are good the teams competing for the BCS National Championship - and most likely several other top teams - will have more than 10 wins. But how confident are you in those chances?

What they are looking at is the margin that KSU won many games by last year, 4th quarter comebacks, etc. They squeaked several games out. I haven't looked at their schedule, but I'd imagine it might be tougher than last year as well.
