+Rion Brown: Dude was on fire, scoring 22 including 5/7 on 3's.

+The Usual Suspects: Kadji, Scott, and Barry's son all had solid games.

+3 Point Shooting: They were on fire going 11/21. That'll do.

+Board Play: Won rebounding advantage 39 to 27, Reggie led the team with 9.

I know it's BC, but UM just cracked the top 10 for the 1st time since forever AND coming off a big win and there were too many empty seats.

Plus rep as always Dan, but you forgot:

+ following Miami basketball > following Miami football recruiting.

Which actually is, I think, a sign of the apocalypse, if, you know, those Mayans weren't full of it.

75% of our "fans" think Miami is an NFL franchise. Keep winning and some more of them will come over.

Agree with the minus on attendance... I was most disappointed in the students, who have mostly been awesome this year. You have a top-10 team -- go to the game and watch them play! Lots of empty seats in the student section for this one.

Another minus to the security in the GA section/whoever prints the UM season tickets. I've had season tickets in the GA section for the last six years (since I graduated), and I've sat in the front row of section 106 behind the media for almost every game in the last five seasons. Security checked our tickets as we walked into the GA section (I have no idea why when there were more than 2k tickets unsold and this is the cheapest and least desirable section) -- when they looked at them and saw that they said "GA*SEC 117/118" (as they have for years) they tried to kick us out of the seats we've held for years. After five minutes of arguing with them and telling them that I wasn't a student (117/118 are part of the student section), they finally let me stay, but I was told that if they ran out of seats in the GA section, they would kick us out and send us over to 117 (where we wouldn't have been allowed to sit anyway, since it's the student section). The entire thing was ridiculous.

One of my friends has the same issue. If you go to 117/118 they send you to GA

No idea why those seats were printed like that

Yeah, it's crazy. They've printed like that for at least the last two seasons, but this is the first time I've ever had a problem. To make it even better, I'm in "row G4, seat 29" of "GA*SEC117/118," which of course doesn't actually exist! (They have row and seat numbers on the GA tickets as a way of counting how many tickets they've sold -- I've called and asked about this.) I was ready to pull out my alumni card to convince them I wasn't a student and that I was in the right place.

I sent a tweet @HurricaneSports tonight, and they said they'd talk to the ticket office in the morning to see what was up. I asked Chris Freet about it at the game, and he had no idea why they printed like that.

As an update on the GA ticket issue, I spoke with one of the guys in the ticket office and got to the bottom of the problem. Apparently, their season ticket template for print-at-home tickets in the GA section had a misprint in it and was printing the wrong section number to go with the correct "GA1" section. If anyone sitting in the general admission section logs onto their online account and prints out their UNC ticket, it should now say "106/107," and we should no longer have any issues with security.
