I don't think Rivals rankings or any other rankings are biased towards Miami. Most of our recruits are from the state of Florida and most specifically, South Florida. It's hard for a National Recruiting outfit to see every player in Florida. They can't evaluate guys over and over again. It's why they have undervalued Jamal Carter in my opinion. Carter isn't a big camp guy, so Rivals doesn't have the opportunity to truly evaluate him properly.

I assume ESPN is more favorable to us because they are based out of Florida and they hold combines in different areas of Florida while also being able to evaluate the talent in Florida better than other sites can.

i agree completely. i'm responding to many posters who invariably claim bias against UM, everytime one of our recruits is not a 4 or 5 star. It's unsupported crap that people continually spew as gospel.

While i can at least see the reasoning behind arguing a potential bias in favor of Notre Dame, UT, and other huge schools w/ big fanbases in order to increase subscriptions, an intentional bias against UM is nonsense.
