goal line offense vs. goal line defense
There are several examples (more than 5) this season of less talented defenses (FAU, USF, UNC) shutting down our offense near the goal line in either forcing us to kick a FG, making take all 4 downs to score a TD, stopping us on downs, or forcing a turnover after we had first and goal inside the five because they played aggressive defense, with 10 men around the LOS.
On the other hand, we play with our LBs 5 yards in the endzone on these same occasions. What is the point of those formations from us? Are we protecting against the deep ball? Do we want to keep everything in front of us?
Yup, it's talent.
