Bishop Gorman vs. Chaminade

Anybody else watch this beatdown yesterday? Gorman got some big dudes on the OL, they pushed Chaminade all over the field, siap.

Zachariah Branch and Gorman’s starting Corners all sat out. It could’ve gotten really ugly. Super surprised. They also noted that Gorman’s last game was a month ago……

Their only loss was the second game of the season to Mater Dei 24-21, they outscored their opponents 857-92 and finished the year on a 13 game win streak. I was impressed with their physicality. We need to look at some of those big OL, they all looked in great condition, especially the two tackles.

They hoard all the talent from parts of california to vegas and played a school that probably sits under 500 students.

That being said this should of been expected it aint a good match up defensively for chaminade at all.

I think Gorman averaged like 12 yards a carry, they were just way too physical up front.

Definately are.

Facilities just as good etc.

Majority of their kids ARENT from Vegas

Correct. Vegas ain’t a football hub like that. I’ve seen Vegas/Nevada football up close & personal outside of Bishop Gorman. It ain’t good. They have some b-ball players in Vegas, but football? Not really, & the best of the best get poached by B.G

Gorman definitely has the talent but Chaminade did themselves no favors by living in man coverage all game. They also had opportunities on offense versus Gorman's coverage scheme but they seemed way to focused on hitting the vertical passing game instead of taking what was given.
