Biggest upset, yes.
However, there have been other games where the point spread was more than 22 points off of the final score. Including the 2010 debacle.

It definitely would be the largest upset. Lots of games have fallen well off the spread. We tout the 1988 game but Florida State had a similar rout as a small underdog a few years earlier. The Canes were -3 all week in Jimmy Johnson's first year of 1984. That line dipped to -2.5 just before kickoff and the move was just slightly correct. Florida State won 38-3.
I'm not sure what the line was in '76. That's before my records begin. I attended the game and expected Miami to prevail, but by nothing like the 47-0 final.
has to be a record for No. 7 ranked team with a point spread of 22 points against them right? (not saying we deserve any credit based on how we played or anything like that just curious)
31-0
I think at the moment yea but it slso depends on how the rest of the season plays out between both teams. My thing is can either team win 2 games in one season against one another? If they cant I want the ACC title game, but its hard for me to think we win both games let alone one. Hopefully this will be a great game not a blowout unless its in our favor.
were the biggest underdogs in NCAA history for an undefeated top 10 team saw it on ESPN today
we're ranked 7. how could this be the biggest upset in series history
Good stuff. You do this for a living?Biggest upset, yes.
