Still irked about MNW's loss to American Heritage last season

Bulls shoulda manhandled 'em without question. Just flat out gave that one away with mistake after mistake on offense.

Hopefully get another shot this year.

**** no, STA won't agree to a match up against them unless they start showing signs of slowing down. Why hasn't STA even played AH in the last 3 years and that's one of their county foes. No team in the tri-county area ducks top competition the way STA does.

Heritage is loaded at DB and has the personnel to play cover 1 against any team. The question is whether they will be able to generate any kind of pass rush on the interior this season or if it will have to come solely off the edge with Jones, Jr. and Richard Thomas.

Good luck stopping AH's offense this season.

Really?
Cause Ponte Vedra shredded that cover-1 with our very own Marshall Few, who had 155 yards receiving versus a secondary that had 3 NFL players in it.
And last year they gave up 366 yards passing to Eau Gallie High School. (Who?!)
Can't just play Cover-1 versus everybody, especially OC's that have a clue. You don't remember that team from Utah boat-racing Miami Northwestern a few years ago on national TV?

The AH team Marshall Few shredded had a weak link in the secondary and I’m pretty sure Marshall Few exploited that one player for most of his receptions and yards during that game. I don’t think this AH secondary has a glaring weakness like that player.

Their QB also had 2 touchdowns rushing (5 total)... did they also have a weak link in the front 7?

Last year they gave up 366 yards passing to a school called Eau Gallie. Two of their WR's went over 100 yards in that game.
I don't think any of those kids even signed to FBS schools.

You mean the same offense that scored 14 points against our defense and was held to their lowest yardage total (225) and lowest point total (14) the entire season. (they didn't score on us until midway through the 3rd quarter)

STA blocked a punt for a TD and had a pick-6. That's how they got 28.

Maxpreps didn't tell you all that, huh?
