Thoughts outside of saying "Neither, our D sucks."? We can only do one trip since they're separated by less than 20 days. Travel expense isn't really a factor as most of us still live in South Florida. I've heard positives about both places. Right now we're leaning toward Lou-vul as the holiday weekend/opening game seems slightly more attractive but nothing is set in stone as I bet the Clownhuskers have a fairly decent gameday environment. Gracias.

Lincoln is pretty awesome. Nice clean college town and the stadium is awesome. Not a bad seat in the place and it's literally on top of the field. I would be going if I didn't have a buddy's wedding the same day. I may even try and get out of that wedding to go.

I lived in Lexington for 5 years. Louisville is a giant **** hole. Most of their fans are inbred racist as all ****. Don't waste your time. I've heard nothing but good things about Lincoln and the hospitality of the Nebraska fans.

I live in Nebraska an hour from Lincoln and can verify as much as I can't stand Husker football being around it year round, that the gameday atmosphere is quality and how college football should be you might say. My brother now lives in Louisville btw so don't have your predicament- fly down for the opener and stay with him Labor Day weekend then simply drive a convenient hour to see the NE game a few weeks later. Only seen the U in person once at KSt last year so if we go 0-2 in my 2014 trips may have to retire from in person viewing for the programs best interest

I'm also trying to decide the same thing. I feel like I could entertain myself in Louisville for a weekend. What the **** is there to do in Nebraska?

Nothing. But game day atmosphere and the politeness of the area trump Louisville every day of the week.

I'll be at Louisville & Atlanta this year.. Both are easily drivable for me. Will definitely be armed at Louisville...

Lincoln. Legendary football program, rare visit, great fans from what I recall back in the orange bowl days as well as the rose bowl. Even if their coach is a douche.

Sounds oddly like all of my trips to and through Lincoln. I bet the BBQ is better in Lville.

Lincoln....

My wife was born & raised in Nebraska and my Mother-in-Law just retired 2 years ago after working for 43 years in Administrations for the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. I've been to Memorial Stadium and it is a great experience with a lot of tradition. You will love and be thankful for the trough style ****ers in the bathrooms at halftime and the traditional Runza sammies are frickin delicious..... Don't to forget to add mustard to them......
