We win the next two and the Bowl game. Some dumb NFL team hires Golden. We replace him with someone competent.

It's perfect.

Seniors go out on a high note. We get 10 wins. Golden becomes someone else's problem. Most of our recruits stay. And we have someone who can actually coach.

Pretty sure we are stuck with Golden and his boyfriend for at minimum one more year. I no longer think he will fire dorito

why dont you think he will fire Dorito?

we may not win a single game next year if we stick with this same BS defense
 
I am very frustrated as a fan and I am no expert on coaches or schemes. I think Golden is the right head coach for this team because he has the CEO mentality. This offseason will tell the story on whether he can separate friendship from business and make changes to his staff that are needed. This D is the most frustrating group I have every tried to watch. Even I knew when the RB motioned to the sideline the pass was going to go to him. The D seemed to ask like it was a new play ever time they saw it.

The one point that I think we are missing here is how well the D played in the first few games, including UF. What didn't happen is a constant change in how we do things. Our players may not understand our D but our opponents do. Do we think the crossing routes every other play are by accident? If a base scheme is so hard you can never build off of it because people don't know where to be that is an issue. That might be the biggest reason for our late season challenges. Maybe going forward our players can ask the OC for the team we are playing where they should be on each play. :-)

Can't lose Golden this year. We need the entire recruiting class that he and the staff has put together. After that, whatever.
 
Better chance of Penn State coach getting hired to the NFL because he has experience and then Golden going back to the to Penn State.
 
I sincerely hope that players, RECRUITS, and their families don't read this board. Absolutely no good can come from any of this indiscriminate *****ing about everything, should it be seen by others.

Lulz, if Golden were to leave, it would be at least even money that the school would replace him with someone worse.


Look at the last bunch of hires if you don't believe me.

Let's be realistic here, I imagine you'd get much the some with any top program (or any program that thinks they should be a 'top program') after a three game losing streak.

Maybe.....but since everyone seems resigned to the fact that Golden is here to stay for the foreseeable future and he will not fire his BFF - it pretty much means that anyone committing now....... is committing to a dumpster fire.
