The only stats that really matter for a QB are completion % and td/int ratio.

I expect +60% and 3/1.

Too many INT's. I expect much more of a game manager role from him. Should be a lot more careful with the ball, and just get it to the playmakers in space. Completely agree with the other numbers though.

I really like Williams. He managed the offense well, what little time I saw him. He uses the tight end really well. We will at least be much better time of possession wise.

6-6 at best with that stat line. Might as well start Kaaya if thats what to be expected.

Offense has to be more consistent in sustaining drives with our no-D.

Needs to get short passes that give our playmakers an ability to make plays in space. Not sure we should put him in a position to make manning type throws, maybe some timing plays. This will also get his confidence up that will help, a solid run game will do wonders as well.

Will be all about his anticipation. He can throw a ball 60+ yards, which is plenty of arm strength. May not have the zip to force it in but certainly enough that if he can learn to throw to areas and trust his receiver to be there he will be fine. Not sure we have seen that since Dorsey, though.

All that matters is can he increase the TOP and limit turnovers. If he can string together a few 3+ minute drives a game and not give the ball to the other team this team will be better off.

The two stats that will matter will be TD/INT ratio (needs to be better than 8:5) which you want to be more in the 3:1 ratio. And in our offense, completion % which we are going to need to be very high next year, as the home run ball will be completed less often.

I have high expectations for Williams. Been in the program 4 years. Looked very comfortable in the little we saw. How good do you need to be to accurately hit coley on the bu ble screen 5 times a game? Use the TE, move the chains, and keep that retched defense off the field.

I'm looking for him to have a big year. Sandland will definitely benefit from him coming in.
I'm definitely coming around to what you've been preaching for some time.

He has the game to win here. I mean, I'm sure he can handle a bubble screen to Coley.

I think if he's a student of the game, a leader, and a film rat, then we'll be way ahead of where we were with Snickers. Snickers seemed like a guy who didn't give a **** about preparation or about losing. Seemed like an artsy kid who took football as kind of a hobby. Never really seemed all that committed to getting the most out of his abilities, which probably explains why he sat behind a guy like Jacory, who had almost no physical skills, but seemed to at least have a feel for the game.

I feel like Williams will be much more successful than Morris in this offense. He will be much more efficient and accurate when spreading the ball to our playmakers. Morris was to inaccurate on screen/crossing passes and it often stalled the offense. Williams will have a higher completion percentage and make less mental errors so I'm feeling pretty good about him this year, but that's just my opinion.

Morris was not a PED State type quarterback, Golden now has his man, as Williams is more like the guys who have been QB at PED State. The offensive line will need to open holes for runners and protect Williams, if they can do that he will be very successful IMO. If he does not get help from the OL, he will be a JAG and his scalp will be sought.

Just didn't get the feel or see any fire coming out of him. He was called a leader and definitely did not exhibit those type of qualities. Morris had high skill set and negative tangibles. Williams has the potential to be cerebral and has playmakers to help, something to be optimistic about in the off season.

Atleast none of his screen passes will be thrown 5 yards backwards and out of bounds for a fumble like Morris' in the bowl game.
