After Watching Film on Miami's Defense one of our Problems we have is Covering the **** TE! I listen to saban speak about coverage and run support and while he was speaking you would hear alot of words like " I had to Adjust" or here is the reason why I don't teach this. I found a video on Saban speaking about coverage( some what the same stuff I heard before from him) say what you want, but we all know Saban is a Great Defensive Coach! ( alot of things he spoke about we don't do LOL) Video is old but still some good stuff.

I would pay good money to see an uncut video of dorito doing the same...i still say one of the things holding our def back is that our guys prob cant understand half the **** he says
 
Saban's team just lost 2in a row..and his name was mentioned for the Texas job.....we shouldn't trust him!
 
Your right 2 games over looks his whole coaching career. I don't trust him as a coach but he knows Defense!

So you thinkin' we might get him for Defensive Coordinator?
 
No really, why is it that hard for Miami to cover TE and RBs? I just can't believe some of the **** I see when we're playing. Every team TE in shines on us. RB are always open. But whatever

@ 9 minute mark he talks about a very key point. How his CBs aren't back pedaling they are in a half turn with good leverage so they can come up quick or turn hips and go on deep route.

Bud Foster teaches this as well.

Saban also knows how to teach his back 7 to reroute WR/TEs. We do none of that.

All due respect to Saban, but his not teaching back peddling is why Dre Kirkpatrick and Dee Milliner are performing horribly in the NFL. Saban teaches to his system. I'll take JJ and his "simple" D over anything Saban ever ran.
