With several Head coaches already let go, I think our coaches should be checking
into OL prospects currently committed to these schools. BC has at least two good OL
recruits as does other schools. That is our greatest need by far. Need to sign 7 with
what we witnessed recently.

This roster could use some Northeast kids
Agree. But these BC types tend to be a different cat. Very parochial in outlook. It is almost like they are going to the family church. 180 degrees from the Miami diva thing.

That said, BC fans are mostly a holes and many are bigots. Just my opinion as a catholic and New Englander.

I made the trip up to BC last season. Beautiful venue. Need to get replenish the roster with some Irish blood, I think Murph is a Senior.

I was there. **** parking with the busing. It has a real college stadium feel even if small which is fun. Prefer the Rock.

Getting those two lineman would be cool.
But it would throw the families into disgrace. Lol. The Moms have been talking up the BC commitments. Both neighborhood have had a pot luck dinner to raise money for season tickets. Etc.

We should absolutely try to get those two OT's to OV and at least see if they have any interest at all. Probably not a chance but who knows maybe they want to start day 1 in a big city. I also wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Gordinier and add him as our second TE. He's a legit athlete and I think his brother liked his time at Miami even though he got hurt. Anyway, we should at least send Barry up to visit those monster OT's.

Ozzy Trapilo wasn’t even ranked at the beginning.

As BC grad, I’ll weigh in, the bigot thing is an opinion, some probably are but we may be painting with too broad a brush. Most fans being a holes and or A hats is fact not opinion. Insufferable lot. If you met me it would take an hour of convo to find out I went there. Most grads will tell you in a nano second they went to BC and how unreal they are at life. I realize I mentioned BC off the top but I felt it added relevance.

I was there also. Good atmosphere, partially because it was their annual red banana tribute to the 9/11 hero alum.

I wasn't thrilled with the parking options. In fact they were the worst of any road game I've attended over the past decade. I ended up taking rapid transit from Boston Common area.

Fans were great. We were throwing a football around beforehand. Talking about the World Series also. Chilly night. They were telling me what a difference a few weeks can make because it was blistering there for a recent home game.

Their fans stormed the field. I laughed and told a few nearby that we no longer deserved a tribute like that.

Regardless, awesome city. It is amazing how much you can see on foot in one day.

As a fellow Massachusetts native I can say the BC people are the absolute worst. Also really tough kids to pull because you don’t commit to BC to win football games, mainly just for the education.

I actually Ubered there, so fortunately I didn’t have to deal with the parking. I went with 3 of my non-Miami fan buddies who all bet against UM & were throughly enjoying my misery.

At least I can say I watched an 18 inning World Series game in Boston when the Sox were playing, it was electric.

Don’t hold it against me my man.

BC has had quality OL for decades.

I'm all for sniffing around any of their prospects.

I've always respected their program, too.

They've done well with the development of their players over the years.

Although I always try to forget the Flutie Fiasco.
