How are you doing this? Jeremiah Smith transferred after his sophomore year and I got him. Julian Sayen hit the portal also but I couldn't get him even though I passed for 6000 yards with Cam.

When I start the regular recruiting. I target 10 5* and I get them. I use all of my budget on them. Send the house, players and family. But that is after two years of recruiting.

You need to update how you spend your points. In week 1, Throw the house and set them up for a visit week 1. Then update in week 2 and go to hard sell on those things he’s interested in. Make sure to use up all possible points on other things as well.

In transfer portal, that usually works.

New trend in CFB. Bag up when you sign outta high school. Have a good freshman year, threaten to/transfer and bag up again. A sign these days whether be out of high school or through the portal is a one year contract.
