At this point, its clear that Bain will be a Freshman All-American and if he continues to perform like this, by the end of the year he could be an All-American and it might be obvious that he's a generational talent.

We HAVE to leverage this from a recruiting standpoint. All hands on deck with the DEs and DTs that decided to commit elsewhere. They have to see what he's doing and understand that w/JT, they have a chance at not just serious playing time but a possibility to have a huge impact. I firmly believe Stewart is Bain 2.0. Gotta flip him and need to flip some of these other whales. We'll never have another recruiting opportunity like this.

Doubt it has any impact. Already had Blount jump ship with the nonsense excuse that he’d be developed better at FSU. What we need to leverage is putting Emory in to show some signs of life on offense and pay these DL more NIL.

The fact that we can’t convince a single DT worth a pi$$ to line up alongside him and Wayne…

Makes you wonder…what’s the reason?
Stewart & Bain on the same DL should be a first degree felony on OLs. DTs guaranteed to not be double teamed. How do you not want to play with a combo like that as a DT?

I don't think even the most delusional and overly optimistic, Cane fan envisioned what Bain is doing and is likely to do the rest of the year. He's doing just what he did in HS and maybe even more. If you factor in the refs were allowing OLs to blatantly hold him the first couple of games, he's likely already at 9-10 sacks.

Not sure we can understand what the impact could be here on recruiting.

Bain is by far the biggest point here. But the other freshmen making an impact. You can start to see the difference in the type of player they’re bringing in. That’s what the recruiting pitch has to be. All the runs on the winning drive, including the TD, were by a freshman RB.
