Far and away the biggest concern I had on the entire roster, and I said as such the entire off season, was the tackling from the DBs and their play overall.

If you’d have asked me my worst possible scenario, poured it into a used diaper of nightmares, and smashed the baseball bat of catastrophe against my skull until my brain looked like melted strawberry ice cream, I couldn’t have fathomed a situation this awful. Every single one of those kids, save OJ before the Cuse game, couldn’t have been a bigger abortion.

I promise I will never, ever say a bad word about Kinchens, Williams, Couch, or Davis ever again.
 
Barry's going out on a limb there, isn't he and I don't bash him like everyone else. Well our fanbase bashes every single media source or info provider breathing. I have every name right there likely transferring. He could have just posted starting S's made basically half the tackles of Kam and James this season prior. That's all that needed to be said.

They’re paid professionals. They know they suck. We know they suck. It’s ok to say they suck. These aren’t optimist kids.

Barry is just winging it, as usual. Downplays Josh Horton and Ryan Mack without noting they were injured most of season. Scroggins plays at a tiny school and doubt he contributes immediately. Don’t see Marcelin as frosh contributor, either. Also not sure any of DBs factor in immediately, esp with two coming off serious injuries.

Does that explain have a 30% missed tackle rating which is literally the WOAT

Jaden being hurt early on has nothing to do with it. He’s just not a group of 5 player let alone one for a power 4 team vying for a playoff spot. He’s terrible
