As we get closer to signing day, I just happened to be looking for players I felt could be diamonds in the rough. I came across this kid and was blown away immediately. Plays at Mountain Vista High in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, a rival of national powerhouse Valor Christian. He has one Power 4 offer to Kentucky, which probably wasn't commitable. I am bewildered at the otherwise lack of P4 interest. Listed at 6'5" 205.
- Colorado's Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior after passing for 3,675 yards on 70.3% completion percentage, along with 41 passing TDs compared to only 7 picks! Also had 4 rushing TDs
- He has 27 passing TDs through 5 games already as a senior!
- As a sophomore, he passed for 3,327 yards to go with 34 TDs and 12 picks, on 64.4% passing.
The kid is a gunslinger! I'm not saying the kid is going to get a UM offer, I love Luke Nickel, I just wanna see if y'all see what I'm seeing.
