Cam, the HBO doc, the recent article. If the NCAA wanted to pin someone they have Auburn on a platter.
But Auburn is in the wrong conference for being pinned. Miami and USC would be given a permanent death penalty just fort the same allegations.
When is some news outlet going to connect the dots that every fan in America does?
Here's the thing. If the NCAA goes after say, Auburn - rest assured that Auburn University, Auburn coaches, Auburn players, and Auburn boosters have enough dirt on other SEC teams - like Alabama - that they'd crash the whole system. When you're part of the 'system,' you know where the bodies are buried, where there are fresh grave dug, who provided the guns, who brought the ammo, and who paid what to whom, and you even know how much.
Once it gets real - the mudslinging will begin, as no one wants their greatest rival to skate while they catch the crap. That's why SEC charges are kept small, relatively insignificant, and punishments are negligible. Because if one team started to get hit hard, they'd make sure to take their greatest rivals down a few notches.
Old Miss - MSU. Auburn - Alabama. LSU - Alabama. USC - Clemson (even though it's an ACC school). Georgia - Florida.
Cars. Parents rent paid. Parents jobs. Parents get houses. Parents get payments. The key is to get the benefit to the parents, who in turn can give their own kid whatever they wish. There have been enough 'walking around cash offers' to come back to the schools, and I'll bet dollars to donuts, some of our players were offered some very interesting benefits when recruited by some of these SEC schools.
Dig into Auburn? Naw. Won't happen.
The most they'll receive is a 'scratch.'
