I agree with you that not a lot of people will show up for Bethune Cookman regardless, but I think more people would have shown up to it if it was the first game of the season. There is always positive hype during the off season that gets people excited, they might as well take advantage of it to try to counter the fact that we are playing Bethune Cookman.

It has been sad watching my two teams (Canes and Redskins) merge into the same team over the last several years; winning the off season with top acquisitions/recruiting.
