Mike Harley's dad has been posting Samuel tweets the last few days. Saying keep him home, and the photo of him flashing the U behind Harley last year after state title game yelling flip in the background, in reference to Harley flipping to Miami from WVU. Harley Jr and Asante are boys.

Samuel was the best player on the STA defense in the televised games I've watched (along with Bonitto).

lol you just had to start this thread. Glad you did though. I just calmed down from ranting about Jobe. I'm holding out hope that the staff tells his punk *** to go ahead and go to Bama, while on their way to visit Samuel. Seems like Samuel has more interest in us at this point than Jobe does. I don't feel like Samuel is a consolation prize. He's the type of guy who coaches (not just ours) should be prioritizing, instead of treating like a backup plan. Missing out on him, because we're holding out hope that jobe wont embarrass us on signing day, has terrible idea written all over it.

the one thing I'm not getting a clear answer on is if we are actively recruiting the kid.
So far I've heard here that he will listen...but are we calling?

oh boy if we can get samuel

not too confident to be honest, taggart probably is all over him to stay, but man that would be an ELITE pull late in the game

Give me a kid who’s a baller and actually WANTS to be a Cane. We saw how that worked out for Bandy. Tired of the drama...give me the 4 star guys who want to put on for the soil.

I'm down with this... Good CB's are NOT easy to find...

Exactly we can stick one of those big fast at safety . Imagine having two lock down cbs than have safties that can play dbs entire field and cover like cbs . Gives u a chance to get your best players on the field . 4/2 / 5 is the best way to do this . Smith would be my safety who plays / safty , olb , cb role all in one . The kid always finds the ball

I can definitely imagine that! Could just imagine closing with Campbell, Samuel and Surtain? I know that the chances of getting all three are slim but that would be unreal. Also agree with you about Smith. Ive said from the beginning that Smith is the most underrated player in the 2017 class.

I was very impressed with his play in the ACCCG when Bandy went down. Great awareness, physicality, and is always around the ball. The kid is going to be a player here as will Carter. Bring in Frierson and Hall and that is a Safety 2 deep that I would put up against any other team in the nation. Get Sanguinetti and Richards to add to the 4 mentioned above and what you have is the nastiest safety corps in the country bar none. The best thing about this scenario is that it is very realistic.

+1 yes......like Bandy and J. Johnson not the biggest or fastest but play a full 60 minutes.
